Chevron Wall Panels 1000mm x 2400mm x 10mm

Chevron Wall Panels, 1000mm x 2400mm x 10mm

Preparing the wall

Panels need a wall that is clean, dry, sound and reasonably flat. Remove loose paint, wallpaper and old sealant, fill deep holes and let any damp patches dry out fully before you start. A well prepared wall helps the chevron wall panels sit flat and stay put for years.

Cutting and fitting tips

Measure twice and cut once. A fine-toothed saw or a sharp craft knife gives a clean edge, and supporting the panel close to the cut stops it flexing. Dry-fit each piece before applying adhesive, and check the adhesive maker’s guidance for your wall type. Fitted with care, the chevron wall panels give a neat, even finish.

Finishing touches

Trims cover cut edges and corners, and a line of silicone sealant where the panels meet a bath, shower tray or worktop keeps water out of the joint. Matching trims are in our accessories range. Finished this way, the chevron wall panels look complete from every angle.

Cleaning and care

Wipe the surface with a soft cloth and warm water with a little mild detergent, then dry it to avoid water marks. Avoid scouring pads, abrasive creams and strong solvents, which can dull the finish. Cared for like this, the chevron wall panels keep their look for years.

Panels or tiles?

Large panels go up far faster than tiles and leave no grout lines to scrub or reseal. There is less mess, less waiting for adhesive and grout to set, and the room is back in use sooner. That is why many homeowners now choose panels like the chevron wall panels for a bathroom or kitchen refresh.

Where to use them

Bathrooms, en-suites, shower areas, kitchens, utility rooms and cloakrooms are the most popular places for wall panels, along with feature walls in living spaces. Panels like the chevron wall panels suit both homes and commercial spaces.

How much one panel covers

Each panel is 1000mm wide and 2400mm high, so one panel covers 2.4 square metres. A wall up to 2m wide and 2.4m high takes two panels side by side. Allow an extra panel per room for cuts and offcuts.
